Interpretation of Results
Based on your total score, your institution's maturity level can be categorized as follows:
- Nascent Stage (0-4 points): Your institution is in the very early stages of empowering students with AI literacy and skills. There may be some isolated efforts to introduce AI concepts, but a comprehensive approach to student AI empowerment is largely absent. Focus on developing basic AI literacy curriculum standards and policies for ethical AI use by students.
- Emerging Stage (5-9 points): Your institution has begun to address student empowerment in AI, but the approach is still developing. Some key components like AI academic integrity policies or AI skills assessments may be in place but not fully developed or consistently applied across the institution. Work on formalizing processes, expanding AI literacy efforts, and developing more comprehensive strategies for student AI empowerment.
- Established Stage (10-13 points): Your institution has a clear and consistent approach to empowering students with AI literacy and skills. Most key components are in place and functioning effectively. Focus on refining these processes, ensuring they're fully integrated across all academic programs, and adapting them to address emerging challenges and opportunities in AI education.
- Transformative Stage (14-16 points): Your institution is at the forefront of student empowerment in AI literacy and skills. AI literacy is fully embedded in the curriculum, and students are actively engaged in shaping AI policies and practices. Continue to refine and evolve your approach, potentially serving as a model for other institutions. Focus on pushing the boundaries of AI education and preparing students to be leaders in an AI-driven world.
